Cityscapes and Landscapes are pieces of artwork capturing scenes within a city, residential or natural context.

My interest in Landscapes is more recent than my extensive background in portraiture but it developed out of an interest in how “place” both molds humans and is molded by humans. Cities are the largest and most pervasive art installations. When Covid-19 shutdowns occurred everywhere the absence of people in these spaces made me realize how they were like empty art galleries.

Later in the pandemic people began going outdoors but early on even the residential areas were bare as people stayed inside. Ironically, the lack of people in these spaces made me reflect more on my neighbors than seeing them outside ever did. Their absence was loud!

Hence my sparked interest in capturing these scenes. I do not currently accept commissions on Land/cityscapes.
